What conditions do you address?

While I am happy to help with any pain complaint, I am especially adept at addressing chronic pain such as low back pain, sciatica, hip pain, digestive issues, pelvic pain, sexual pain and persistent trauma symptoms. I have also had great success treating migraines, headaches, neck pain and shoulder pain. (You'd be amazed how much these conditions intersect with core work!

What is pelvic work?

Philosopher's Stone specializes in pelvic health. Pelvic work is the process by which we directly address vaginismus, vestibulitis, menstrual pain, vaginal dryness, incontinence, prostate imbalance, erectile dysfunction, and other pelvic floor dysfunction. This work is also excellent for relieving chronic low back pain, chronic hip pain, groin pain, and digestive issues.

External massage and bodywork to the abdominopelvic cavity, pelvic floor, and adjoining musculature can relieve pelvic and sexual pain. Other techniques used are neuromuscular assessment, breathwork and somatic shadow work to balance the energetic elements of these conditions. You will also learn self massage and other tools to support healing between sessions as part of this protocol.

There is no genital contact or internal work.

How long is a session?

Sessions range from 60 minutes to two hours, however all sessions may run a few minutes longer or a few minutes shorter depending on the time your nervous system needs to process and integrate the work.

How do I know which modality will be used?

In these sessions, my entire skill set is at your disposal. Our initial assessment will give me an idea of which techniques will be most beneficial, and I will continue to assess and adjust as we move through your appointment. I do my best to communicate what is being done as we go. However, I'm human and get absorbed by my work, so just let me know if you have questions!

If you have a particular modality you would like to receive, let me know and we will incorporate it into the session.

What forms of payment do you take?

You can use a debit card, any major credit cards, Paypal and Apple Pay when booking online.

If you wish to pay with cash, Venmo or an HSA or FSA account, please call me at +1 (856) 857-7535 to schedule instead of booking online.

A valid credit card on file is required regardless of your preferred payment method to confirm your appointment.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. I do accept HSA and FSA payments.* If you would like to bill your insurance for reimbursement, I can provide itemized invoices and applicable insurance codes.

Question 8

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

If you need to reschedule or change your sessions for any reason, call, text or WhatsApp me at +1 (856) 857-7535 at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Changes within the 24 hour time period will result in a 50% late fee.

Should more than 15 minutes of your appointment elapse without communication, your appointment will be considered a "no show" and a 100% fee will apply.
